On World Health Day, billionaire businessman and Zerodha CEO Nithin Kamath took to Twitter to showcase six inspirational people who have made tremendous progress in their fitness journey. Nithin pointed out that with commitment, small lifestyle changes can make a huge difference in leading a healthy life, regardless of the amount of money one has.

First on the list was Venu Madhav, COO at Zerodha. The senior executive is known for his transformation from chubby to one of the hottest compliance heads in the world. Karthik Rangappa, Vice President at Zerodha, is the man behind Zerodha Varsity and a self-transformer from seven years ago. Vishnu S, Programmer at Zerodha, is the one-man army for Coin By Zerodha and credits his weight loss journey to consistent home cooking and physical activity.

Next on the list was techpreneur Dilip Kumar who is working to make a difference in the world through conversations around health on his podcast. He can now run a half marathon in an hour and 22 minutes with dedication to his fitness. Adnan Adeeb, co-founder of Volano Entertainment, was also highlighted. Adeeb is one of the few in the Indian health start-up sphere who practices what he preaches and defies the ageing process.

The last personal Nithin commended was his own wife Seema Patil who beat stage 2 breast cancer with grace and physical fitness. Seema underwent a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation but still managed to stay in shape through her tough journey.

Nithin’s tweets highlight a hard truth; money cannot buy good health. With strong willpower and small tweaks to one’s lifestyle any individual or organization may witness a mental and physical transformation. Zerodha is a leading online stockbroker platform founded by Nithin and his brother Nikhil Kamath in 2010. The company makes investing in the stock market easier, faster and simpler for millions of traders and investors through its cutting-edge solutions. With an in-depth understanding of the financial market, Zerodha’s mission is to increase economic inclusion by making trading and investing accessible to the masses. On World Health day, Zerodha’s CEO not only sets an inspirational example for his own organization, but for the world.
