In those instances, the former president narrated his alleged involvement in the hush money payments that were made to adult film star Stormy Daniels during his 2016 campaign, to hide an alleged affair that Trump has constantly denied. American Media Inc. (AMI) is a media company that is closely linked to the Trump presidency. AMI had paid USD 30,000 to a former Trump Tower doorman, in order to buy a story alleging that Trump had a child out of wedlock. Furthermore, AMI paid a sum of USD 150,000 in the same context to a woman who allegedly had a sexual relationship with Trump. The Special Counsel also wired USD 130,000 to an adult film actress twelve days before the general presidential election.

His polarizing views have had a significant effect on American politics and world affairs. As mentioned earlier, he is currently facing criminal charges in a New York court, something that he has consistently denied.
