Samsung and Peloton have announced exciting news for Galaxy Watch5 and Watch4 users – they can now download the Peloton Watch App onto their smartwatches. This integration enables users to connect their watches to Peloton Bike, bike+, Tread, Row, or Guide. With this connection, users will be able to view their heart rate onscreen during their workouts.
To pair the two devices, users must select a workout on their Peloton equipment and open the Peloton Watch App on their Galaxy Watch. They will be greeted with a prompt to pair the devices, which they must tap on to see their heart rate displayed on their Peloton equipment screen or Wear OS platform. With this integration, users will be able to track their fitness goals in real-time.
The addition of the Galaxy Watch integration comes a year after the company announced Apple Watch integration for all of its machines. Samsung said the integration was created to help people lead healthier lives and reflects the company’s values and commitment to providing a personalized experience for users taking part in workouts.
Samsung also recently added temperature-based period tracking to its Galaxy Watch series as part of a partnership with Natural Cycles. This utilizes the smartwatch’s temperature sensors to make more accurate predictions about a user’s period.
