Co-working giant WeWork India has announced their expansion into the national capital, as they have taken on lease 54,000 square feet of space from realty firm Eldeco at their Eldeco Centre located near Malviya Nagar Metro station in South Delhi. The company is set to open the facility in August 2023.
WeWork India has seen exponential growth since the pandemic, owing to its demand for flexible workspaces. As a result, the brand is launching the new setup to increase its presence in the Delhi NCR region and become more accessible to its customers. According to WeWork India’s Head of Real Estate & Product, Arnav S Gusain, Delhi is one of the key cities pushing the growth of flex spaces, making this an incredibly desired cause from their part.
Eldeco Group’s Chairman, Pankaj Bajaj, was also quoted in the statement, saying that Eldeco Centre is their new class-leading office building located in the heart of South Delhi, bringing with it office spaces and F&B outlets. WeWork India was launched in 2017 and boasts 6.5 million square feet of assets in five cities, namely NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad. This new office space will help them further the reach of their flexible workspaces.
