AR Murugadoss revealed that the time frame in which he had to complete the film was quite limited as Rajinikanth had planned to launch his political party in August that year. The timeline was so tight that he hastened the entire filmmaking process including the story writing, shooting, post-production and more, which consequently led to the failure of the film.
AR Murugadoss is now focusing on his upcoming release on April 7th called ‘August 16, 1947’ which is being produced and directed by him. The film stars Gautham Karthik in the lead role and promising visuals and a topical story line. With this film, he is surely hoping to achieve commercial and critical success.
